About Me

Greetings,
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana/Illinois with 25 years of experience providing therapy services to clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-image and physical/mental/emotional well-being.

My counseling style is warm, reflective and interactive. I believe in the client’s right to self-determination with the innate ability to navigate their own live in a meaningful manner. I see you as the “expert” and my role as a supportive “coach”.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, narrative and solution-focused treatment modalities to meet the individual needs of each client.

I appreciate your courage displayed in seeking to engage in the change process. I would be honored to support your journey of transformation.

All the Best,
Veronica Walker-Douglas, LCSW

Veronica is great at allowing me to see things from a different point of view. Emphasizing that everyone’s experience is different. She’s helping me develop an understanding of how everyone expresses themselves. She’s very aware of what We need to focus on and she’s willing to listen and respond to anything I have to say. Great advice. Great communication.

Veronica is great! She's incredibly helpful and encouraging. Veronica has great suggestions on coping mechanisms and offers help in a spiritual and Christ focused way.

Veronica is fun to talk to. She’s like a friend, and she is also great at listening and coming up with solutions and action items for my specific problems.
