I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults with chronic mental health and substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, loss, self doubt, adjustment issues and overall life stressors. In addition, I work with individuals without a mental health disorder; those who are seeking advice, need to process live occurrences or just need support.
My clinical career includes treating and supporting clients with a wide range of concerns such as, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, substance abuse, personality disorders, mood regulation difficulties, trauma, grief and loss, verbal and emotional abuse and more.
My counseling style is supportive, interactive, honest and provides for accountability of self. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy and compassion. My approach is determined by the individual's personality, needs and issues being addressed. Part of my style is to follow the client and not direct or push them where they do not want to go. It is important for me "to meet people where they are!" HOWEVER, I do address avoidance and ownership. It is important to understand one's thoughts, feelings, behaviors and to explore the benefits of staying the same. Sometimes the pain of change is greater than the pain of staying the same and so, people may choose not to change. In such cases, we explore the consequences so you are fully aware of the impact this will have or has on your life. I cannot make decisions for others, but I provide a space of support no matter what one decides as long as you are not endangering your life or the life of someone else. I combine various approaches tailored to everyone’s unique circumstance. My approaches may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered, humanistic, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, EMDR (swapping out eye movement with bilateral stimulation), and psychodynamic counseling.
Seeking a more satisfying and peaceful life is healthy and a wonderful! Talking with a therapist is a great first step toward change. If you think you may be ready to take this step, I am here to support and empower you along your journey.
I look forward to meeting and partnering with you.

Victoria has been a huge blessing to me! She’s really helped me with realizing who I am. She’s helped me process traumas that would have continued to tear me down had I not. She’s been so honest, genuine, challenging, supportive, and kind! She’s made my first experience with therapy so wonderful! I wish I would’ve started a long time ago!
