About Me

I still love what I do after 22 years. I have extensive experience in Christian Counseling, Blended Families, Couples, Addiction, PTSD, Trauma, Sex-Offenders, and Obsessive-Compulsive behaviors. I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from ages 7 to 89. I have worked with juveniles in a residential facility, military families on an army base, couples, and individuals through mental health and addiction facility plus my church. I am independently licensed in 3 different states as a Marriage and Family Therapist and independently licensed in 2 states as an Addiction Counselor. I believe everyone has a "gift," something that they are called to do and Counseling is mine. I care about my clients and have the innate ability to "zone" in what is going on with them. I use Emotional Focus Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma-Informed, Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but it really depends on the clients I am seeing.

Personally, I am a wife who has been married for 39 years with 8 children and 23 grandchildren. I work full time at a mental health facility, but I have some mornings and evenings available for my Better Help clients. My goal is to help my clients reach their goals. I find joy and satisfaction when I see them achieve what they are searching for. I offer a safe environment, honesty, understanding, and respect.

I admire anyone who wants to make a change and is willing to reach out and ask for help. I am here for you if you are that person.

I have been working with Victoria for several months now dealing with my grief, anxiety, depression and PTSD. She has really helped me think of other ways to cope with these issues and is always there when I need to talk. I am truly grateful for Victoria and Better Help.

I have made so much progress with Victoria in the few months that I've been working with her. I've been to therapists throughout my life, but she's easily the best. She always listens to my concerns and offers perspective and insight where I may be lacking. I feel validated and heard. I've met one of my goals and I am moving on to my next with her. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have crossed paths with her.

Victoria was very helpful as I was navigating a personal crisis. She helped me from a Christian standpoint, which I especially appreciated. She gave me tools to help lower my stress levels and affirmed that I was handling things appropriately. I really enjoyed meeting with her!

Victoria has been such a wonderful addition to my pursuit of better mental health. I’ve known Ive needed to start therapy for years, and finally I pursued it in 2021. Victoria listens to me, validates my feelings, and supports my choices. I appreciate her advice and friendly support as I navigate my mental health journey. She is one I can lean on for compassion and strength.

Always there to listen and give advice. Really easy to talk to. I was scared at first but Victoria made it relaxing and didn't put pressure on me to speak if I wasn't ready.
