About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut with approximately 5 years of experience working with people struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse. I have worked with client with a variety of different concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family conflicts, marriage/relationship strain, OCD, trauma as well as many more presenting problems.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe that everyone deserves respect, and should be treated with sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I feel that you are the expert of you and at times we all may just need a little help finding answers that are innately within us. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, and dialectical behavioral counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Fate would have it that my first session with Victoria coincided with one of the most traumatic days of my life. From that first session onwards she has listened intently to everything I have had to say. She is compassionate and never comes across as judgmental.
