Vilma Ramirez, LCSW
About me
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing behavioral health treatment services across medical, inpatient, outpatient, and insurance-based settings.
My therapy style is collaborative, compassionate, and structured, grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining responsive to each client’s unique cultural, emotional, and life context. My approach to therapy is strengths-based, client-centered perspective, helping individuals build insight, resilience, and practical coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment.
Clients often describe my style as warm, supportive, and direct. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space while also helping clients set realistic goals and move toward meaningful change.
I look forward to working with you!
