About me
I am licensed in Minnesota with almost 11 years of professional work experience. I have always believed in the potential of each person as an individual and my goal as a therapist is to help each person find new ways to approach the obstacles that keep them from achieving their full potential and being secure and content in who they are. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT, Buddhist Concepts like Present Moment Living and Mindfulness, and Behavioral Activation to assist people in areas that include Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, Family Dynamics, and Chronic Pain and Aging. I am currently working to become a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. Personally, I love dogs, nature, animals, and doing crafts like knitting and crocheting.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
