Whitney Jenerette

About Me

My name is Whitney Jenerette and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctoral student in Counseling Education and Supervision with skills and training in evidence-based practices. I primarily use Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy that focus on the unique needs of the individual. During my 4 years of experience, I have specialized experience in several areas including depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma especially in urban settings. I enjoy working with individuals who are new to the therapy process and who are willing to work toward goals. I am aware that it is not always easy to address problems in life and to develop strategies and plans to improve the future so I am here to offer hope, empathy, and support.
I look forward to working with you.

I have the upmost respect for Ms. Whitney! She has helped me More in the last few months than any therapy has all my life. She is so knowledgeable, helpful, kind and intelligent! Her true skill shines through each session. Her level of comprehension in her field is highly demonstrative as she guides me to reach deeper levels of thinking within myself, encouraging my self care and in the way she supports me in a gentle and comprehensive manner. She is ethical, professional and truly wants me to succeed at my own pace. She's been my saving grace. I am truly fortunate to have met her. I am grateful for her. She is most definitely a phenomenal asset to your organization, and quite frankly, the only reason I've continued membership this long. I am thankful for her. Thank you, Teresa.
