About Me

Hello!
My name is Whitney Jenerette and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctoral student in Counseling Education and Supervision with skills and training in evidence-based practices. I primarily use Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy that focus on the unique needs of the individual. During my 4 years of experience, I have specialized experience in several areas including depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma especially in urban settings. I enjoy working with individuals who are new to the therapy process and who are willing to work toward goals. I am aware that it is not always easy to address problems in life and to develop strategies and plans to improve the future so I am here to offer hope, empathy, and support.
I look forward to working with you.

I don't know how I could have made it through one of the MOST difficult times of my life without my therapist. She has helped me in every aspect of my life. I am so thankful and grateful for her. She is so knowledgeable and a true professional. The best experience by far with therapy. Definitely a great option to save drive time, also flexible scheduling. I have felt better every week since I met her because of her help and I truly feel like I have hope now unlike the day I started therapy. Ms. Jenerette is a fantastic therapist, and a valuable part of my life. I truly don't know how I would have made it through this year without her.
