These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. William Dobson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dr. Dobson is absolutely amazing. I started working with him in mid-2021. During our very first session, I knew I was in good hands. Doc always listens and is ready to share his insight as needed but leaves it up to the patient to make connections and get on the right track. His approach is to help patients sort themselves out so they don't need to rely on him forever and can eventually make their own way.
Doc helped me do this twice. I "graduated" from our therapy in early 2022, having made great progress and gaining a better understanding of who I am and what I need. I planned to find a local therapist I could see in person once a month for casual mental health checkups. Two weeks later, my heart and sense of identity shattered into a million jagged pieces. I couldn't wait for a new therapist to be able to see me in person. I restated BetterHelp and was so grateful that Doc could still see me.
I was a mess, to say the least. 2022 was a tough road, and I couldn't have gotten through it as well as I did without Doc's guidance. I did not want to internalize the things I'd experience and let them become toxic problems for my future relationships. Doc listened as always, offering advice and feedback as needed. There were many things about myself that I needed to learn to take care of in a healthier way. Doc guided me to discover those things. He helped me see that I am enough, that I'm not lacking, and that I deserve a happiness that makes me a priority, too.
I'm still messy, but that's part of being human. There will always be more things to discover and grow into. Thanks to Doc, I know how to navigate those things better than I ever could have before. All my ducks are in a row, and I know how to take care of them now.
Dr. Dobson is amazing! He's a gold standard, and I highly recommend working with him if you get the chance.

Dr. Dobson is Kind and Gentle. A very good listener and makes me feel like is the missing oar to a pair. Helpful, insightful and relaxed atmosphere during sessions.
