About me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Billy and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina. I have been working with those facing mental health challenges for 20 years.

I have helped my clients face a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, career struggles, interpersonal concerns, LGBTQ issues, as well as grief and loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical and emotional trauma.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling utilizing reality therapy techniques to develop goals. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I would consider it a great honor to be a part of your journey towards positive change.

I look forward to working with you!

William Erwin is a god send. He is compassionate, caring but always professional. I have never related to a therapist as I have with Billy. My progress has been nothing short of amazing.

I chose William Erwin for his ability to communicate fast. I like that. A fast thinker. And he has a lot of knowledge plus understanding of what you want to accomplish with your therapy. I was looking for more of a mentor, guide to help me reach my goals and get the most out of my life. William Erwin fits the bill for me. A nice gentleman to top off my Better Help Experience.
Thank you.
