Hi! My name is Yvette De Los Santos and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Turlock, California. I have over six years of experience as a therapist, in both the Community Mental Health model and in Private Practice. I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from CSU Stanislaus in 2017. My experience includes working with individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual dysfunctions, mood disorders, substance use issues, and parenting issues. I have worked with clients who are veterans and front line workers. I also work with individuals who just simply struggle with the stress and the frustrations of everyday life.
My counseling style is warm, client centered and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I want to help you on your journey to set goals, work through stress and traumas. I want you to feel empowered to face daily challenges.
