Yvette De Los Santos

About Me

Hi! My name is Yvette De Los Santos and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Turlock, California. I have over six years of experience as a therapist, in both the Community Mental Health model and in Private Practice. I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from CSU Stanislaus in 2017. My experience includes working with individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual dysfunctions, mood disorders, substance use issues, and parenting issues. I have worked with clients who are veterans and front line workers. I also work with individuals who just simply struggle with the stress and the frustrations of everyday life.

My counseling style is warm, client centered and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I want to help you on your journey to set goals, work through stress and traumas. I want you to feel empowered to face daily challenges.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I provide a non-judgmental environment. I believe everyone deserves to have someone they can easily talk to. Allow me to be that person for you. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you. I look forward to working with you!

Yvette has been really compassionate to me. She's been able to help me figure out what's really bothering me, and what to do about it. I really recommend her :)
