Ziara Battle, LICSW
About me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Washington, D.C., and I’m so excited to support you on your journey!
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and have had the privilege of working with a wide range of people, including children, teens, adults, and older adults, across different settings. Before joining BetterHelp, I focused on supporting vulnerable communities, including children with learning differences or on the Autism Spectrum and individuals living with chronic medical conditions, serving as both a social service provider and advocate in the D.C. area.
I take a whole-person, client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that everyone is unique, and therapy should fit you—your experiences, strengths, and goals. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, build on the skills you already have, and discover new ways to thrive.
I love working with clients on challenges like anxiety, stress, life transitions, and educational or personal growth concerns. I use tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness, and I’m always excited to adapt and learn new ways to help you succeed.
I look forward to connecting with you soon!
