My experience consist of assisting individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders, relapse prevention, veteran issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, impulse control issues, self esteem issues, and self harm. I really have a passion for working with clients struggling with anxiety, OCD, and intrusive thoughts.

I believe in self determination which allows the client to decide what is important for them to change without judgement. My approaches to therapy include solution focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness. Working with Aaron has been tremendously helpful for me both personally and professionally. He has introduced me to valuable frameworks such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which have given me meaningful insight into myself, my reactions, and how I navigate relationships and stress. These frameworks also help me identify why people react and communicate with me the way they do. Most importantly, Aaron creates a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where I feel comfortable being open and honest. His combination of empathy, thoughtfulness, and practical guidance has had a genuinely positive impact on my life.

Aaron is an extremely knowledgeable and personable therapist that encourages you to take yourself just as seriously as he takes you. I greatly appreciate that Aaron respects me enough to never sugar coat my shortcomings, while also never coming across as callous or uncaring. I’d especially recommend Aaron if you are a young man that struggles with the concept of therapy or engaging with the process.
