About me

Therapy can be a difficult step, and even more difficult to find a therapist you connect with. I work to develop a therapeutic relationship in which realizations can occur and positive changes can be made. I have experience with both group and individuals, and the intention is always to help enhance the client's current level of functioning and overall condition.

My areas of expertise include behavioral issues, childhood trauma, insecure attachments, familial issues, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. My education is in Mental Health Counseling, and Forensic Psychology.

Allyson is exactly what I needed from a counselor without me knowing it. I was apprehensive about starting therapy and didn't know what to expect. She has listened, challenged, and supported me every step of the way. I'm being pushed to be better while simultaneously being reassured firmly. She doesn't let me lie to myself or BS at all which I really appreciate. Couldn't recommend enough!

Allyson is very sweet and genuine! She listens to me and my concerns. She helps me get through things piece by piece rather than a huge chunk at a time and it’s helped immensely! Anything I want to work on, she makes that the focus of the day and adds in normal conversation towards the bottom of each message, which makes it easier to talk.
