I'm licensed as a counselor (LPC) in Idaho and Arizona, with four years of therapy experience. My goal is to listen, come alongside, and empower women.
I recently learned qualitative research in a doctoral certificate program. My own position as a woman, daughter, wife, and mother led me to begin researching women and gender roles. I have a husband and three children ages 8, 15 and 17.
Often, women (and men) are unaware that their mental health problems stem from dysfunctional family and social systems that may include relational patterns that are toxic or abusive. I counseled children with trauma for a few years, and for the last year have been focusing on women with my trauma-informed knowledge. I continue to learn more in this field - because as humans, we are always learning and growing. I use a person-centered, holistic, and eclectic approach tailored to each unique individual. I'm here to help you build relational skills, including how to relate to your own inner self.
