About me

I am a licensed professional counselor and am in my third year as a counselor, however, I have worked in the mental healthcare field since 2009. Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked with kids, adults, and families that needed help with behavior modification. I have a masters degree in psychology and a masters in counseling.
I graduated with an emphasis on trauma, grief, and crisis counseling. I have a lot of experience working with depression, anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, and trauma. I use a lot of cognitive behavioral therapy but I also think the mindfulness approach is very effective. I’m also very client-centered. I am a Veteran and enjoy working with other vets.
I have a quiet voice and am very empathetic although I can also be tough without being pushy. I look forward to meeting every unique individual and doing my best to help with what may be troubling them.

Angie is absolutely amazing. She's always there for me. She never looks down on me or makes me feel like she's giving me sympathy or feels sorry for me which I am so thankful for. I hate when people feel sorry for me.
