About me

I am a Licensed Clinical social worker in Virginia with over two decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of roles including classroom teacher and counselor. I have worked in school-based counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy and a strengths-based approach to help students and their families cope with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other challenging life-experiences.
With a focus on a strengths-based approach, I help young clients identify and build upon their innate abilities and resilience. By fostering a safe, supportive environment, I empower individuals to navigate emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate self-esteem.
Blending therapeutic techniques with an openness to spiritual perspectives, I encourage clients to explore their inner strengths and connect with their sense of purpose. With experience working in various settings, I use a combination of mindfulness, creative expression, and evidence-based practices to support each client’s unique journey.
