If you are dealing with issues related to your present life, and/or working through issues from the past; relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, blocked creativity, trauma, depression, anxiety; we can work on that stuff. In 4 decades of practice I've seen people work through many major life challenges. I work with individuals and couples.
I've been a therapist since the early 1980s when I was in my early 20s. I was trained by a group of therapists who were drawing from a variety of approaches. That means I am trained to work with people using a variety of modalities, including talk therapy, creative therapy, body-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, and hypnosis. I am also trained as a Career Counselor. My tool kit is well equipped to provide each person with a unique therapeutic experience.
Human being suffer, each of us in our own ways. It's my job to assist people in dealing with, managing, healing, coming to terms with, their suffering. Once we meet online and start working, you'll determine the direction of your therapy so that you can benefit as much as possible from the experience. It is a courageous act to seek help. I look forward to beginning our work!

I really appreciate the support, the suggestions and direction I get from Baruch during our sessions. I always feel empowered and capable after bringing an issue (usually that has to do with another human) that I feel hesitant to deal with to him. He listens, clarifies my big picture difficulty and gives me new tools or suggestions, while reminding me of what I know and what I have within myself. I can be vulnerable and HONEST with him.

Baruch is truly a blessing. He creates a space that feels safe, a space where I feel comfortable sharing my inner most thoughts that may have previously caused shame within me. He has a multigenerational lens on life that is shocking and impressive. Baruch has such a wide range of tools to share, and the biggest heart you could imagine. He has reinstated my hope for men.

Traditional counseling has never clicked for me and my schedule. However, without a doubt BetterHelp has removed that barrier and connected me with the first professional who I have really clicked with. Baruch has made a huge difference in my day to day life in dealing with big and small issues, and I am grateful there is a platform that connects us across the world.

Baruch has been helping me sort out issues in dealing with my elderly father who was distant, very critical, and emotionally unavailable during my childhood and beyond. My father is currently verbally abusive to me and other family members in many instances. Baruch is wonderful. He has helped me with concrete and practical suggestions to help me deal with the immediate situation with my father and also more in-depth analysis of the whys and wherefores of the past. In spite of many years of difficulties with my father, he reminds me of all the positives in my own adult life, which can be hard to focus on when feeling overwhelmed when dealing with crises in an elderly parent. I felt immediately at ease with Baruch at our first session. He is an amazing listener and responds with such clarity and insight. In just a few sessions, he has helped me greatly. Highly recommend!

I would be surprised if there was a counselor that was a better match for me out there. Baruch has initially helped me get through a really tragic time in my life and we've transitioned to working on just general life things that I have a hard time working through. He's helping encourage me to use the tools I already knew I had and has perfectly unusual and relevant suggestions of books or movies(etc.) he thinks may help me or I may just get something out of, and as an unusual person, that is exactly what I need from counseling.

It took me one session with Baruch to have that "eureka" moment with him. Three weeks later, I feel like I've taken back control of my life and subsequently the thoughts bothering me have disappeared. Baruch is an extremely good listener. He not only listens to what you're saying, but how, and uses that as a means to dig deeper. He's committed his life to this profession, and truly cares about bettering humanity through his work. I would recommend him to anyone who cannot seem to overcome their problems on their own or with those close to them. Sometimes a conversation with a professional in this area is all we need. Baruch was certainly that for me.
