Breanna "Bre" Spehn, LPC
About me
Hi, I’m Bre, preferred pronouns being she or they. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oregon, with over seven years of experience. I have worked with individuals of all ages, with different backgrounds, and across a wide variety of settings.
Within sessions, I take a humanistic psychological approach while remaining rooted in mindfulness. Through my variety of trainings, I have gained the insight and skills to show up fully for others in session. I remain an active participant in deepening my self-awareness through ongoing therapy and meditation. These practices aid me in my own self-discovery of inherent compassion in order to guide others with humility and grace.
My Education and Additional Trainings:
• Naropa University, Master of Arts, Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology
• University of Missouri St. Louis, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Art Therapy
• Adi Yogpeeth, 500 Hour Holistic Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda Yoga
• Emotional Frequency Technique (EFT), Level I & II
• Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Diversity and inclusion are crucial for me in my personal life, and in my career as a therapist. While working from a social justice lens, I invite conversation regarding bias, privilege, and power. Throughout my diverse experiences in the field, I have increased my competency as well as my confidence in being of service to others. Let's create a supportive and safe space together that is unique to your needs as an individual.

Bre has been an amazing therapist. I feel like she really listens and pays attention to what I'm saying. She offers multiple perspectives and ideas as to what I'm thinking and helps me process those thoughts and feelings I have. Very fun and comfortable to talk to her, doesn't feel like an intimidating doctor office:)
