Brittany Fruge

(M.A., LPC-S)

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing services for approximately 10 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients with various issues. I have experience with anxiety, depression, body image issues, domestic violence, adolescent issues, relationship problems, among a few. I see clients of all ages and different backgrounds. I view the role of therapy as a team process where we work together to find a solution to problems in order to meet specific goals. My background includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and applied behavior analysis. In addition to my role as a counselor, I am also a board certified behavior analyst and have worked with adults with developmental disabilities for 10 years.

I do not believe in judging others and will provide you with a sense of comfort when discussing sensitive topics. Together, we can discuss personal issues that may be difficult to talk about with other people with whom you are close. Discussing issues with a therapist may offer you a different perspective than someone who knows you on a personal level. For this reason, counseling is a good option when it comes to sensitive topics. I look forward to getting to know you better!

Was a bit skeptical at first because of her being so young but she listens very well and is very helpful. Always there to help. Always responds quickly and always makes it possible to fit you into her schedule. Always positive thoughts and never negative. Always listens to your thoughts and your concerns and addresses them in a good manner.

Listens attentively and doesn't judge, dismiss, or chastise me for my concerns. Works around my schedule by being flexible with communication modes.
