About me
Candace D. Wilson, MA, Ed.S., LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of New Jersey with 10 years of experience working with adults, children and families coping with a variety of challenges including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD and stress. I also hold certificates in Adoption and Forensic Psychology. I am a psychoanalytically/psychodynamically oriented clinician who believes in treating the “whole” person in my counseling approach. I engage everyone with respect, compassion and empathy. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and other modalities, I guide my clients in their journey to positive mental health and well-being. I utilize a variety of approaches as we all have differing individual needs. I provide a safe space where there is no judgement or labels. I counsel adults, couples, families and some children depending on their needs.
It takes strength and courage to seek help when dealing with mental health issues and I am here to help. I look forward to empowering you in the journey to positive mental health and well-being.
