About me

I work with adults in their 20s and 30s who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many face the challenges of neurodivergence like Autism or ADHD, along with the anxiety or life transitions that often come with it. I also support gay and queer individuals navigating identity, self-esteem, and relationship issues.

I also work with Pure-O OCD using Inference-based CBT (I-CBT), an approach that's still hard to find in virtual care.

My approach is insight-driven. Before we reach for techniques, I want to understand what's happening underneath, then we decide together which tools actually fit you.

I don't see your identity as something to fix.

Fantastic therapist, really listens to my issues and provides a way to help with them that feels personalized to the way I live my life

I’m really happy to have Carlton as my therapist. He understands me on a human level and really is a big help.

Carlton was very receptive to my thoughts and what I wanted to say, but then was also able to ask me questions that made me think differently about how I was approaching life and challenged my assumptions. I'm glad that we were able to have a few discussions and I overall felt that he was open in hearing what I wanted to say, but also gave suggestions about what I should do differently and the reasons for why.

Carlton is a great listener. He's very attentive and helps me see the issue laid out in front of me. He asks questions that help me dig deeper and understand what's going on. He's genuine and makes me feel comfortable opening up.

Carlton has such an inviting presence and amazing sense of understanding. The questions he asks and how he asks them allow me not only to see what my problems/struggles are, but to also see where they are coming from and how I’m able to take the steps needed to resolve/work on them. Couldn’t be more appreciative of all the help he’s given me from working with him.
