I came into BetterHelp having just escaped a lifelong abusive situation. I was very honest in my primary survey and spoke as clearly as I could about my concerns. I have seen fantastic progress with Carly. We have been working together for nearly a year. I no longer jump at my own shadow, I've more or less stopped negative self talk, and I'm slowly getting over my eating disorder with her help. I do have outside medical help as well, but without a doubt, I hit the ground running towards recovery with Carly. 10/10, she has changed my life.

No joke, I often tell my husband that if I came up to past me, even just before leaving my previous situation, I wouldn't have believed it. And yet here I am. I'm not completely healed or anything, but I am *so much better*. Some days I can't really do anything but rant about my previous situation and how unfair it is, and she just listens. She doesn't try to psychoanalyze, just recognizes that you're not feeling good, and maybe offers a few brief suggestions on what to do next time. I have had a dramatic reduction in rehabilitating flashbacks. I still have them, but they're a minor annoyance now, rather than a headache-inducing, day stopping phenomenon that spirals out of control.

She is honest and kind. She will tell you straight if she thinks you're being unfair in a situation, but not in an accusatory way. She also checks up on you in intervals throughout therapy to make sure she's offering you what you need.

I have had maybe 6 or 7 counselors in my life, 3 here on BetterHelp in different stages of my recovery. She is the only one who has been able to help me at all, let alone help with all of my issues. She helped me process so much mental garbage - it's amazing. She also guided me through accepting (for the most part) my medical issues, and helped me resurface and accept my ADHD diagnosis. Even if all she had done was help with my C-PTSD and post-abuse mess, that would be amazing. But she has gone above and beyond and tackled everything my life has thrown at us as a provider-client team.

I can't stress enough how wonderful she has been. Anybody would be lucky to have her as their therapist, provided that they were open to truly exploring the concepts and sources of their issues.

Carly is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and understanding. She speaks with so much kindness and compassion that you feel very comfortable sharing with her even about sensitive subjects. That makes her an incredibly effective therapist since you can really feel free to tell her everything on your mind. She always offers great insight and advice, while helping you see things from every perspective. I highly recommend her.

I feel very good with Carly, before her I tried another therapist but he wasn't for me, it was with Carly that I've found myself opening up easier and she's helped me to continue with therapy because it can be challenging and sometimes I've wanted to stop, Carly has a way to make it easier as a patient to keep logging in.

Carly's great. Calm, collected, and genuine. I appreciate the tone of her replies, she understands how people can be triggered by anything and her masterful way of dodging potential triggers is really comforting. In her own way, she masterfully allowed me to discover some problems not by stating them, but by forcing me to take responsibility and question myself.

Carly has been a great help to me since starting with BetterHelp. I've visited a few therapists before but never really felt 100% comfortable talking to them about everything that's going on in my life.
