I feel safe and supported by my therapist. She listens, responds in a timely manner, and has great insights. And, when I expressed concern over a specific dynamic I'd noticed, sent worksheets for me to complete on my own time to discuss at a later date.

I have been to therapy before and have dealt with multiple therapist and though they did help me; Charlar has been the absolute best therapist I’ve had. She listens, is respectful, adapts to the style of therapy that best suites me and most importantly always tells me the truth. She gives very solid advice and genuinely wants to see the best from you.

Straight talk. No chaser. I'm able to just flow, be open, and simply just be me with her. I strongly recommend her for therapy.

Charlar is a fantastic listener and gives great advice and guidance to help me with the concerns I have. She gives me workbooks to help me pin down my emotions and work through troubleshooting my current issues as well as book recommendations so i can find even more ways to train my brain when im not in a counseling session. She is helping me build my confidence and helping me care for myself and love myself

Charlatan is exactly what I was looking for in a therapist. She’s quick to listen and check in at even the slightest hint of an issue. However, she’s not afraid to deliver the message I need to hear.

I info dumped and she knew precisely when and what to stay. Providing just the right amount of engaging feedback creating an environment fertile for new growth and thought-provoking learning on both sides, completely oblivious to time. Ferther more her keen observation indictive of her military background.

I have tried many counselors before and have always been slightly disappointed in their level of awareness, knowledge, horizont and approach to counseling. I felt the counselors were a bit overwhelmed with my situation too as I am looking for clear, rational, approachable solutions and not a pat on the back or going in circles, whining about my situation. When I was ready to give up and fix things myself I found Ms Barnes. The Sessions with Ms Barnes are extremely helpful and I feel she understands where I stand. She has a high level of awareness and has a very positive attitude towards solutions and changing the perspective. She is efficient in her approach, listens and tackles the subject in a rational way which is so refreshing and I love it. I am not a person who enjoys going in circles, so I feel she is a solution oriented person. I respect that a lot as I felt heard and my time is respected. Before I felt that my investment and the weeks of counseling were completely wasted. After all the frustration of not being able to move forward I am happy to talk to a person who has a good IQ and EQ and is not only sitting there waiting until the time is over and trying to push the "solution" to the next and the next and the next session as some do it )) I might say that I can sense genuine interest, and I feel Ms Barnes is genuine and committed to her work. Cudos to Ms Barnes, and I think my subject is not for the light-hearted either, so big big thanks for looking at me with clear eyes and a clear mind. Thank you!!
