About Me

I am a licensed mental health professional counselor in Georgia with 25 years of experience. My expertise covers a wide range of areas including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, grief, childhood trauma, stress management, anger issues and relationship dilemma.

My counseling style is client focused, attentive, conscientious, with authentic engagement. My approach is eclectic nature utilizing strategies and techniques from various treatment modalities which combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy, as well as dialectical behavioral therapy. I will provide you with coping strategies to manage your life.

I always look forward to my meeting with Charlene! She is such an open, down-to-earth, joyful and loving person that simply has a bright shine to her, and she always listens to me with complete focus, giving me a chance to say everything I have to say even if we are running out of time. It's a very relaxed and safe atmosphere and I would recommend it 11/10!

Even when we talk about heavy things, I feel energized from our meetings. Charlene is able to ask me questions that illuminate things I am too close to the situation to easily see and coming to the realization "on my own" as a response to her questions helps me remember better and more easily apply what I have learned to my current situation.
