About Me

My name is Chelsie Harris. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I gain fulfillment as a professional by helping others obtain a sense of hope for the future. I am patient, honest, understanding, and believe that a successful therapeutic relationship stems from rapport that the client and therapist are able to develop with one another. I will treat my clients with the respect and dignity that every person deserves. That means I will work with you to create a treatment plan that will meet your needs, and work with you to create goals that you, the client, want to achieve. My intentions as a therapist are that my clients feel supported in reaching their goals and gain the skills necessary to address life's challenges with strength and positive coping skills.

I can understand that it can be very difficult to decide to seek professional counseling and take the steps needed towards changing one's life, but I am here every step of the way to assist you in creating the life you would like to have for yourself.

I look forward to working with you. Thank you!

I enjoy talking with Ms. Harris because she is very relaxed and has a non-judgmental way of responding to anything I tell her. I also don’t feel pressured to take my therapy experience at any pace besides my own, which has been unique and fantastic for me.
Overall, having Ms. Harris to talk to on Better Health has made my day to day experience better, because I know I have someone to talk to no matter what!

Chelsie has really helped me understand what I am feeling. She reassures me that I am heard and appreciated even on days I don't feel like I am. I am so grateful I made the decision to open up and learn more on my feelings.

Chelsie was a great therapist. She listened to me and helped me acknowledge my feelings as valid. She responded quickly and was always receptive to my concerns. She kept me focused on achieving my goals in therapy.

Chelsie is AMAZING! I honestly was/am a basket case but she makes me feel so amazing by the end of the session! She gives GREAT counseling. I was in a terrible mental space when I started therapy and was even afraid to start again after failed attempts with other people. She made me feel like it’s possible to be happy again. I’m so thankful for her and recommend her to any and everyone!
