About me

I am an Integrative counsellor which means I work in a variety of different ways. No two people are going to be the same, and in fact, we all harbour different parts within our own selves which is why I work in a way that suits the person I'm with. Some examples of the ways I work are; person centred, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and solution focused. When I work with someone, I always respect and listen to what that person wants and needs from the therapeutic relationship. I work in a way that considers the connections between past experiences to present life events in order to help the person I'm with gain control and clarity in their lives, but only at a pace that suits them, and with consideration of what their goals actually are.
I have 4 years experience in my private practice in the Bristol area where I see a variety of clients. I have a lot of experience working with trauma, dissociation, abuse, depression, stress, anxiety and relational issues. I am also gaining a lot of recent experience with autism and ADHD.
I have worked with all ages, a lot of young people in schools and universities, but also adults of all ages.
I believe the healing process is different for everybody, and there is no right or wrong way of doing things, just the way that suits you the most.
I look forward to meeting you!

Chaira has eased my mind in so many different ways. She’s done a great job of creating an environment that I feel comfortable in to share things that I wouldn’t share with others. She helps me take my anxious thoughts and look at them in a new light and has turned a lot of my negative thoughts into positive ones. It’s been so nice to have someone I know is there that will listen, not judge and guide me through my issues

Chiara is incredibly kind and pauses in all the right places to give you clarity of thought. She is so encouraging in the best way to challenge negative thought processes and behaviours and you gain a lot of self awareness through her assistance and conclusion of the session. Thank you for giving me a more positive perspective and attitude to the challenges we face in life!

She is an amazing and down to earth therapist, she’s helped me feel more confident and be a better version of myself. Understanding my worries and struggles even if they are minor, I’d request to have her again if I left
