About me

Some information about me...
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 25+ years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma and emotional abuse. In addition to working with people in their 30's through 50's, I have extensive experience working with young adults from their teens to late 20's as they begin to navigate the next phase of their lives into full adulthood.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is person-centered and combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It is important to me to meet people where they are, and cultivate a trusting relationship that fosters acceptance and growth.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
Chris

Chris was great! I had the roughest break-up of my life and I didn’t have anyone to talk to. I talked with him a lot and opened up more as things went on. He’s a good listener and I’m happy he was around in my time of need. I am feeling much better these days and have a positive outlook on my future that I never thought would be a reality.

Chris has a quiet, listening approach and is very caring. Chris quickly got to know me and didn’t come to our sessions with ‘all the answers’ he came to listen and explore. I felt empowered to have my opinion, and Chris has supported me to express it. I am very grateful for the approach Chris took to get to the core of some of my issues, remarkably quickly.
