About me

Hello,
My name is Christina, I am a person-centred counsellor, empathic and non-judgemental, down-to-earth with many years of experience. Previously working with a full multicultural diverse range of clients, within the community, for the NHS. I specialise in bereavement counselling for adults and children. I have your best interest at heart and will be here for you, in your grief and loss, at this difficult time. My counselling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, with compassion, and integrity.
My approach is integrative of other modalities to suit the needs of you my client. Combining cognitive-behavioural therapy, humanistic, psychodynamic, somatic and solution focussed therapy, as an example.
I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan, to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life, and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
best wishes Christina

~Christina is very compassionate, kind and caring. She is always on time and doesnt rush to end a session especially if it is at an important moment. She always responds to messages or if you write a journal entry or mood tracker update. She sends me info sheets or ideas to help me through the week. She does not judge and is very wise. She has given me many "aha" moments and helped me understand lots of facets of my life. She is encouraging me to look deeper into myself and my inner child especially as a root cause of many of my "issues"
With Christina's help Im learning to find self compassion and happiness.

Christina makes you feel comfortable easily and allows you to lead a session in a direction that feels natural. She is supportive and gives you grace whilst you navigate different emotions or ideas but also doesn’t let you brush things off or paint over things easily which is needed to keep you accountable. I feel lighter after session with Christina.

Christina is a wonderful therapist.

She is a perfect balance of professional and friendly. Professional enough that you know she is capable of handling any issue you throw at her. Casual and friendly enough to feel her warmth and comfort when needing to be vulnerable and supported.

I cannot recommend her enough.

Thank you Christina.
