Hi, my name is Cindy. Nine years ago I made the best decision of my life. I decided to
complete my education with a Masters of Science in Psychology so that I would be able to help
others. I completed and began a most rewarding career that I am now on my seventh year and
still passionate about what I do and consider myself very fortunate to be able to do this.
My style of therapy is eclectic with experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic
Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, Psychotherapy, Person-Centered
Therapy and Trust Based Relational Invention. All are studied, trial statistics are shown and
proven to be very successful. Some models do not work for all people and parts of other
models are helpful many times, particularly when co-occurring issues exist. You decide what
you want to work on, it is then put in a treatment plan and we go from there using the best model
so that you can achieve success on your goals.
Clients I have worked with have presented with depression, anxiety, family issues, criminal
justice problems, low self esteem, trauma, PTSD, attachment disorders, mood disorders,
parenting issues, foster care parents and children, juvenile sexual assault victims, sexual
assault perpetrators, adoptive parents and children, conduct disorder, Autism, Asperger’s,
Bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. Every one of them have been a pleasure to work with.
Thank you for viewing and I will look for the opportunity to work with you.

Cindy is warm and easy to talk to. Having her as my therapist has changed my outlook and how I navigate challenges in my life. If you get her, consider yourself lucky!
I really appreciate her being so advocate on keeping in contact with me and making sure that I'm safe whatever the situation is. She send me articles on what issues I'm dealing with. Thank you for your support I needed it more than you could ever know.
from my first meeting with Cindy i could tell she cared about my concerns and goals. she has listened and offered advice but has never been forceful or pushy. i feel a lot better about my goals and my issues after we broke them down and im excited for our next meeting.
I have just started working with Cindy and I already feel like we are accomplishing more in the first two weeks than I have accomplished in some months and many dollars with other therapists. She listens so empathetically and is very communicative. I’m so excited for my journey.
Cindy has been great!
Cindy has a great approach to therapy. She provides worksheets and creates an empathetic and supportive environment that is focused on your needs and growth. She is insightful, compassionate, empathetic and very helpful in customizing therapy towards your needs.
If you're lucky enough to get matched with Cindy- you will get better. She's offers such a safe environment to bare the ugliest parts of depression, trauma, anxiety, and gives you the tools to turn them into strength. I look forward to our sessions because she not only provides a space for me to talk, she provides a space for me to heal. Thank you Cindy!
Cindy is a wonderful therapist and expert towards emotional regulation and CBT. I always feel heard and understood with her and feel like she truly cares about me. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good therapist.
She’s amazing, she listened and always sends me paperwork on what i need help with.
I highly recommend Cindy to anyone who is needing help. She’s responds quickly and really listens to your needs.
Cindy is very personable and easy to talk to. She helped me work through some issues that seemed overwhelming, but she helped me break them down into manageable pieces and process them more effectively. She was very validating, never making me feel like I was "wrong" or "off base" for my concerns and feelings, but she also helped me identify behaviors that are unhelpful and guided me on how to approach them. After my time with Cindy, I felt more empowered and grounded.
Cindy was very helpful and caring to my needs. She listened and I could tell she was invested in finding ways to help me in any way she could. I came into therapy with low expectations but she was able to exceed them. Thank you Cindy.
I am always looking forward to my next session with Cindy. She is professional and in the couple of sessions I’ve had with her, I feel like she truly cares and wants to help me in my journey to a healthy life.

I absolutely love Cindy Hannigan I feel like she understands my feelings and she is helping me to feel better about myself. She is patient and caring when she talks with me. I would recommend anyone having issues to seek help from her, she is a wonderful soul and truly shows she cares about me. That means a-lot to me , I have been to counselors offices, trying to seek help and they just did not seem to truly care about my situation, I feel like Cindy truly cares, she feels like family to me. I do appreciate all she has and continues to do to help me through this hard time in my life, she is definitely a professional!
