I have a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from McNeese State University. I am a licensed professional counselor with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners with 6 years of experience in professional counseling. I also have over 18 years of experience in Christian ministry as a pastor and chaplain, including a joint combat deployment to Iraq with the United States Air Force and the United States Army.
I offer clients an atmosphere of understanding and compassion in a non-judgment zone. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Client-Centered and Solution Focused approaches. Therefore, I believe each client deserves respect and personally tailored treatment from me.

I look forward to working with you!

Cody is an amazing therapist. He's made our conversations very comfortable, he's easy to relate to, non-judgmental, and always has great insights to help me see things in a new, healthier perspective.
Over the years, I've had a few in-person therapists, so I was hesitant to try a virtual option like BetterHelp, but Cody has truly been better than all of the in-person therapists I've had. I look forward to continuing to work with him, and would highly recommend him.
