About Me

I consider it my life's work to help heal broken hearts. I am a counselor licensed in North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky with over 15 years of experience working as a Cognitive Behavioral Counselor and Life Coach helping those that are hurting to heal. I have worked with clients from all walks of life (including veterans) with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, anger management and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced emotional, relational and intimate relationship trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is relationship centered, warm and interactive. The process of counseling is truly about gaining or regaining hope, healing and growth. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I will assist you to tailor our dialog and to develop goals and a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to heal and having a relationship with someone you trust has proven to be effective when seeking a more fulfilling and happier life. So as you take the first steps towards a change, if you are ready to take that step and willing to do your work, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

I truly trust Connie. She’s great at helping me to have hope and living my best life right now. Living with any terminal disease causes depression, anxiety, stress, and-- of course-- feeling lost. She helps me reduce these issues into bite-sized pieces that I can manage. She’s the best!

Connie is wonderful. We've only had a few sessions but she has already helped me feel comfortable. In the past I have never felt comfortable opening up to anyone. She is very warm and compassionate.

Connie is someone that from the start you feel open to talk to, great listener and understands the problem right away.

Connie Drew is amazing. She helps me work with daily struggles with a positive outlook and inspiring insight. She is great at following along with me as my life stressors shift from personal to work to family. She helps me navigate every day as it comes and keeps me in the present moment. She helps keep me grounded and allows me to recognize that I'm doing great things no matter how big or small. Connie is easy to talk to. I felt no pressure to explain my entire life's story in the first session, which can sometimes feel daunting. She is great at remembering previous conversations and picking up where you last left off. She is also wonderful at being there for you when life takes a lefthand turn, and all priorities go out the window. Just knowing I have Connie Drew in my back pocket helps me tremendously.

Connie has been a huge help in my healing process. I have a lot more work to do and I am looking to work further with her to achieve the goals we plan to set to help shape the life I want and need. Connie has been very responsive in understanding my anxieties and my roadblocks in my life and always sends me worksheets and reading materials so that I can continue to learn in between our sessions. I highly recommend this platform as I have a very tough work schedule and this helps me have flexibility In which my daily work is not disrupted.
