My name is Cory Sasloglou. I have been working in the field of counseling and social work for the past 4 years. I have worked with the homeless and low-income populations of the city of Miami for 3 years, and have worked full-time in private practice for 1. I have worked with clients managing a myriad of issues at varying levels of severity. I believe true growth and healing comes in moments of loving authenticity. We often grow up in environments that push and pull us in so many directions. The expectations can be overwhelming. We feel like we don’t know who we are or where we’re going. The feeling of security we’re looking for can be found within our cores. In choosing to be authentic to ourselves, and listening to our own needs, we can find the strength to take responsibility for our lives. My number one priority in therapy is creating the sense of safety we need to be truly vulnerable. I work diligently with you to gain an understanding of where your concerns and fears come from, assist you to find meaning in the events of your life, and guide you in defining your authentic self. If you can commit to reconnecting with your core, I can commit to guiding you.

Tremendous! Corey was a huge help during this summer during some really tough obstacles in my life. Today, he continues to offer his wisdom, advice, and solutions to my unique and everyday problems. I strongly recommend him to anyone.

One of the best social workers/therapists I’ve ever spoken to. Corey is super nice and understanding but also realistic and knows how to relate to younger people like me. He’s helped me a ton through our almost two years of working together and I would recommend him. especially to someone who feels like they haven’t “clicked” with a therapist yet.

Cory is a phenomenal therapist. He is extremely intelligent regarding his craft, but takes his time to explain complex feelings and concepts into language that anyone can understand. Cory talks to you like a friend would which makes it far easier to open up and digest the experience. 10/10 would recommend.

From what I know mr.cory is everything I was looking for, someone different. Not here to shelter to much but to push for a difference in life and for that he has my respect.

So far may experience has been great. He speaks to you like a human and not in just a purely “professional” manner which is what therapy should be. We have a conversation that’s real and doesn’t feel like previous therapy experiences where I feel like it’s been ‘here’s my life story’ from me, and ‘here’s some advice’ from them. It feels like we’re really digging deep about so much and excited to see where it continues. :)

Cory is amazing. I was a little hesitant when I was assigned a male therapist, I requested a female therapist but thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I did. Talking to Cory is like talking to a good homie that you’ve known forever, while also having a very professional experience. He’s done more for me than a lot of other therapists have in the past. Thank you Cory!!!!

Cory has been helping me over these past few months with a number of issues. He is able to hear me and understand what I am bringing up to him. His suggestions and thoughts are always spot on. I tend to have a lot to talk to him about and Corey is able to address them in that session. First time I’ve had a male counselor and I am glad I chose him as he brings another perspective to our conversations.

Very insightful. Gives excellent feedback and assists in the work of therapy. Also continually bringing up recent research/techniques that are directly applied to my circumstances/situation. Would definitely recommend.

Cory does a great job as my therapist. While his expertise is clear, he feels approachable and relaxed in conversation. His advice and guidance has greatly improved my life!

Cory is ideal for those seeking any kind of self improvement, healing, or closure. He is highly attentive and provides insight to issues that have gone unaddressed or misunderstood. He is kind and easy to communicate with, not cold or detached which is all too common in therapy. He maintains an open and flexible schedule, and a stress free environment.

Cory’s great! My sessions with him like talking to a friend. When I don’t have one specific thing to talk about or end up going off on a tangent, he always asks the right questions to bring me back to the point. I value his insight and ability to notice things that I haven’t yet seen in myself and others. He has flexible scheduling too, which is really helpful.

I have only had 3 sessions with Cory and already I feel as though a weight has been lifted. He is genuine and leads the conversation in a productive manner. I’m happy I found him.

Cory is helping me get through the most difficult time in my life. He has offered some great tools and advice for each situation we discuss. He’s patient and listens without judgement. I look forward to talking to him each week, although it can be really difficult to be completely transparent at times, he makes me feel like there’s no rush or judgement. I highly recommend him regardless of your situation.

Cory has taken time to understsnd where I'm coming from and where I want to go and has been a great sounding board with solid insights. I look forward to continuing my time with him as we have some common ground to make discussions a little more relatable. Frankly, I jumped into having open discussions although I was a little hesitant in seeking any form of counseling. I just made up my mind and went with it and so far, I'm glad I did and look forward to continuing sessions with Cory.
