About me

My name is Craig Carpenter; I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker credentialed in Oklahoma and Florida. I have been in practice for over 15 years with 10 years in complex mental health. I currently focus on career and transition issues, chronic pain, and sport psychology. Primarily, treatment is focused on utilization of mindfulness based techniques; in addition to solution focused techniques.

Through my own mental health journey I have been able to actively live in sobriety and deal with past traumas, transitions, stress, etc. in a healthy way. I believe all individuals can reach their full potential through willingness and honesty...given the right tools. Look forward to speaking soon!

Warm Regards,
Craig A. Carpenter, LCSW

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Craig Carpenter. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Craig is excellent. With me, he was very good about helping identify my main problems. He was equally good in providing advice and helping me solve those problems. I can’t thank him enough for the work he’s done with me, as he’s given me a great new lease on life and provided me with the necessary tools to mentally push forward. Cannot recommend him enough!

This was my first experience doing therapy! I was a bit hesitant but Craig was really supportive in guiding me through my thoughts and emotions. He is very grounded and practical. He also made me feel safe and comfortable. I feel much more level headed, and will continue to practice some of the techniques that he suggested for me.

I have never been in counselling before signing up for betterhelp. I was matched with Craig. He has been very attentive. He helped me with setting up some positive coping methods as well as dealing with depression, anxiety and my challenging relationship with my parents. He also recommended me some books that helped me better understand boundaries. I have a very positive experience from therapy and would warmly recommend him.

We are still in the early stages of counseling but, so far, Craig has been understanding and supportive. Looking forward to working with him.

Craig is very rationale and supportive, gives me a good pacing for my counseling sessions. I feel guided yet heard. I appreciate even more when I can feel safe with a male counsellor who has the best interest and yet gives me a choice on what my goals are.
