About me

Hello! My name is Cindy Beishir. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 14 years experience providing therapeutic mental health care to adults, families, children and couples. My approach is non-judgmental focusing on providing a safe space where you can be yourself. I do not expect people to do things "my way" but rather do things the way that works best for them in their situation. While I specialize in trauma and anxiety, I enjoy working with people who are struggling with day to day issues and need more support in addition to working with people to begin building healthy boundaries while increasing self-esteem & self-worth.

I have specialty training in a wide-range of clinical interventions including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Cynthia has been a terrific therapist for me, she takes the time to listen to what I have to say, doesn't judge at all and has been able to very quickly and accurately get to the root of what's going on. Her professional knowledge & expertise are absolutely top notch and I can wholeheartedly recommend her

I have tried Therapy in the past. I have never felt it clicked prior. I would talk and feel that it was aimless with nothing being helped. With Cynthia I feel like while yes we are talking we are also moving forward and working on my concerns. I am learning and processing because of Cynthia.
