About Me

I'm a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Coach with over 26 years of experience providing individual and group counseling services in client homes, hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, and hospices. I'm experienced with diverse client populations and currently specialize in women's empowerment, depression, anxiety, transitional and aging issues, relationship issues, stress management, work/life balance, codependency, personal boundaries, self-esteem issues, grief/loss, burnout, compassion fatigue, and life coaching.

I believe that with compassionate, skilled therapy provided in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere, clients committed to positive change can develop the insights they need to find the answers to most of life's challenges within them. I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach combined with laser-focused coaching techniques to not only help clients cope with current challenges but also fulfill their maximum potential in all areas of living.

My general BetterHelp hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1 pm-5 pm, Wednesdays & Fridays 1 pm-6 pm.

Cindy has always been very responsive and understanding of my needs. She helps me to see different perspectives and think through situations in ways I don't always see on my own. Cindy is perceptive, approachable, and an extremely gifted therapist. She has helped me identify parts of myself that I would not have been able to on my own. I am so thankful for my weekly sessions with Cindy! She offers a compassionate, safe, nonjudgmental place to openly share my struggles and has a special way of helping me reframe my patterned thoughts/beliefs. After each session, I feel refreshed and in turn motivated to work on my life’s challenges. I never believed counseling would actually make a difference, but Cindy has helped me see things in a different perspective which has been very healing. I would highly recommend Cindy!

Cindy has helped me with building myself back up again. She guided me through exercises and discussions to reflect on my past, something of which I had a hard time working through before.
