About Me

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Coach with over 26 years of experience providing individual and group counseling services in client homes, hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, and hospices. I've worked with diverse client populations and currently specialize in women's empowerment, aging, relationships, life recrafting, stress management, codependency, personal boundaries, self-esteem, grief and loss, burnout/compassion fatigue, and life coaching.

I believe that with compassionate, skilled counseling provided in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere, clients committed to positive change can develop the insights they need to find the answers to most of life's challenges within them. I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy approach combined with laser-focused coaching techniques to not only help clients meet their current challenges but also reach their full potential in every area of living.

So wonderful and kind and such a weight off my shoulders to have that support, someone who understands and gives me insight and perspective that I wouldn’t have seen or considered on my own. Cindy has helped me with building myself back up again. She guided me through exercises and discussions to reflect on my past, something of which I had a hard time working through before. I have been able to accept my past and give myself the opportunity to better my future. Her kind nature is contagious and has helped me see myself through a kinder perspective.

Grieving for a loved one is very tough. I am very happy that I found Ms. Cindy Milas. Her guidance, insight and counsel helped me get through some painful times. Now I see that recovery is possible and I am optimistic about what the future holds.
