About me

Hello; thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 plus years of clinical experience working as a Mental Health Therapist .
I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns to include: those dealing with the impact of past emotional or physical trauma, grief issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life and career challenges. I have worked in several clinical settings to include: non profits, hospital/clinical settings and schools. I also have experience with individuals who have been dealing with a long term mental challenge such as Bi-Polar D/O and Schizophrenia. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion; I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness, acceptance/commitment and rational-emotive therapies. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe it takes courage to seek help and take the first steps in building the foundations for a more fulfilling life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Cynthia is phenomenal! She is always kind and compassionate with her support, and very easy to talk with. I always look forward to my weekly session with her, and greatly value the help and direction she provides. I never feel judged or misunderstood, and can honestly say I will continue seeing her until she retires!

Cynthia is a kind, attentive listener who clearly has a ton of experience. I find the worksheets she provides to be extremely helpful in whatever mental health endeavor I'm trying to hurdle. She has a great way of using examples to communicate her points that land home every time.
