About me

Hello! Thank you for stopping by. I am a clinical social worker licensed in North Carolina. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting and family problems . I have also helped many people who have experienced childhood trauma unpack and process the traumatic experiences in their past. I enjoy working with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Some of my areas of focus include: trauma, grief counseling, childhood development, depression, relationship issues (marriage, divorce, co-parenting, dating difficulties), mood and anxiety disorders, depression, identity issues and family discord.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines a holistic approach with strength-based solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I enjoy working with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Some of my areas of focus include: trauma, grief counseling, childhood development, depression, relationship issues (marriage, divorce, co-parenting, dating difficulties), mood and anxiety disorders and family discord.

Although I am not a member of the LGBT community I am very supportive of and have experience working members of the LGBT community in dealing with struggles regarding image, relationships, and obstacles and prejudice in the workplace and community.

I grew up in a Christian home and consider myself a holistic therapist. I will focus on how the body, mind and spirit need to be well in order for you to have the best possible life. I will meet you where you are in your life journey and will provide encouragement as you find your perfect balance.

I know that It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
