Dana Moore

About Me

I am a native of the Land of Enchantment, where I grew up nourished by the distinctive cultural, natural and spiritual resources of New Mexico. As a longtime student of spirituality and health with graduate degrees in Theology from Yale University and Psychology from Boston College, I provide my clients with a powerful and unique integration of contemporary health science and traditional spiritual wisdom. I have expertise in supporting people experiencing relationship challenges, divorce, infidelity, abuse, and general anxiety. For nearly ten years I co-taught the Frontiers of Trauma Treatment retreat with Bessel van der Kolk, MD. I also specialize in teaching my clients mind-body medicine skills for healing anxiety and trauma. I am the executive editor of the Fr. Jean-Marie Déchanet publishing project and a board member of the New Mexico Counseling Association. When I am not working, I enjoy long, contemplative bike rides along the Santa Fe Trail and enjoying the diverse events and activities in Northern New Mexico. My website is www.journeywell.org.
