About me

Hi - I am a licensed clinical social worker, with a dual master degree in social work and Industrial Organizational Psychology, and more recently became a Substance Abuse Professional. Having worked in the behavioral health and occupational field for nearly a decade, I am able to provide a safe and secure environment for individuals to learn how to effectively cope with life's difficulties. Using a strengths-based perspective, I am able to approach each situation with empathy, meeting the client where they are at, and work in collaboration with the client to empower them so that they can improve their quality of life and restore a balance.

I take an individualized approach with each client, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic theories. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, parenting and relationship issues, and career difficulties. I am trained to facilitate Anger Management and Seeking Safety, which is a trauma-focused therapy. Additionally, I have a strong background in teaching people how to use effective coping skills relating to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, confidence, and trauma. I also have a significant amount of experience helping people develop assertive communication skills which promotes more positive dynamics in interpersonal relationships and peer-relationships.
