I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of counseling experience. I have worked for private practices and agencies doing: outpatient therapy, mobile therapy, and school-based therapy as well. I have the experience of working with clients that are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, and other mental difficulties. I am also trained in LGBTQ topics and concerns, helping those individuals that identify as being part of the LGBTQ community.
My treatment modality is eclectic, and is built from a core base of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have found that when clients are able to positively process their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors they are able to reach improved solutions to their struggles. It is my aim to create a non-pressurized atmosphere, helping the client feel supported in talking about what is upsetting them. Together we will work on developing a plan of action, further promoting the therapeutic process.
Today is the first step on the journey you will be taking to improve yourself. I will be there for you to the best of my abilities, supporting you along the way. Together we will navigate through this process, with the destination being you feeling better.
I look forward to helping you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dante Bruno. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dante is an excellent therapist. I was going through the breakup of my relationship with my first real girlfriend (in my late 30s no less) and it was pretty rough. I have a good support network of friends and family, but I needed someone objective and not part of my life to talk to. I was making excuses to stay in the relationship and after explaining the situation to me, he was direct and asked why I was still there - he could tell that deep down I had moved on from the relationship. His help in getting through this was amazing.
Dante is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. He strikes a perfect balance of providing affirmation and accountability to encourage me to better care for myself. I’m so grateful to work with him.
Dante is attentive, detail-oriented, sharp-witted, and does not let me get away with distracting him from the subject. He's a great match, and a great therapist. I highly recommend him.
Having a lot of success improving each week with Dante.
Look forward to our conversations where he lets me talk, and we figure out different things to work on and address throughout the week and keeps me accountable on points we identify together.
Dante is fantastic. I and my family have noticed definite changes in me since I've begun working with him. Great lister, great advice and guidance.
Dante is very down to earth, and he doesn't coddle for coddling's sake. He gets me reoriented in the direction I need to be addressing each week.
Dante helped me immeasurably. I am getting back to therapy and hope to work with him again.
Right now, my life is too full for therapy, so it's kind of on hold. But Dante has a perfect sense of timing in checking in with me. It's a beautiful thread back to the work on myself.
Very nice and funny, always makes me feel better
Dante is amazing. He listens, gives great advice and makes me feel more than comfortable to open up! I appreciate him so much!
Dante is the first therapist that I can honestly say, understands me and my needs. He is patient, provides amazing support, and offers impactful advice for handling my anxiety/navigating this crazy world. Dante has changed my perspective on therapy FOR THE BETTER. I am grateful to work with him and thank him for the journey so far.
I think Dante really knows his stuff. He is truly genuine. I’m so grateful for the help he provided. Unfortunately today will be my last session.
Seriously, thank you, Dante. Such a wonderful advisor and help during all I've been through.
Dante has been truly a wonderful, patient and insightful therapist to work with. His ability to help you clarify your personal goals, uniquely find the best techniques to improve your situation, and his undeniable compassion and no judgemental approach make working with him not only comfortable but rewarding, I would recommend him to work with any and all walks of life as his adaptability for each individual person and experience is unbelievably powerful.
Dante is one of true most chill guys I know. He is very helpful and has a understanding about what’s going on. Highly recommend him if you are hitting a wall in your life.
This man is professional, and wise as can be. Talking to Dante doesn’t feel like talking to some stranger or doctor. It feels like talking to a long time friend who wants to help you & has your best interests at heart.
Thoughtful and I enjoy our time.
Dante is a very down to earth therapist and ready to listen to me stumble through my thoughts when we talked about any topic. He also pushed for specific goals each week, which I found to be a very good idea, and I appreciated a lot. He is also very personable and tries to interject humor into conversations.
As he was my first therapist, I do not have a lot to compare my experience to, I would say that his style is very direct and to the point as well. Most of our talks focused on one or two topics, but he tried to relate to a whole host of things that cause stress or anxiety. So I think his style is good if you want to drill down deep into one area.
I have enjoyed my time with Dante so far as my therapist. I was doubtful of therapy at first because my first therapist wasn’t a good match. He has gone above and beyond all of my expectations. He validates me, yet challenges me to challenge myself to be the best version of me. I couldn’t be more satisfied with how great Dante is. I would recommend him to everybody.
Very engaging, receptive, and respectful. Takes time to understand what you are trying to explain.
