About me

My name is Dave and I am a clinical health psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field.
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and served my internship at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology.
I currently live in Scottsdale, Arizona (licensed psychologist in Arizona) and am on the Medical Staff at Honor Health Medical Center.
Although my clinical interests are broad, I have special training and experience in psychological aspects of chronic illness, including chronic pain and sleep disorders (especially insomnia). Beyond that, I am experienced in treatment of anxiety, depression and chemical dependency. I use motivational interviewing techniques as well, since we all have difficulty getting and staying motivated to make the changes we know we need!
It would be a pleasure to work with you if you believe my profile would be a good fit for you!
