About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have spent most of my career working to help people that have experienced trauma understand their own narrative. Sometimes, life events occur in adulthood that necessitate short term intervention to assist us to process, understand and reset.

My treatment approach involves not only listening, but more importantly, hearing exactly what each person chooses to tell me so that I can understand their unique issue and help them move forward. Your treatment plan will be created by you and for you so that the piece of you that has been impacted is made whole. I look forward to meeting you and working together to empower you to be excited about today, tomorrow and your future.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for David Fox. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

From the very first session I felt extremely comfortable discussing my therapy goals and what I hope to achieve. David explained his process in a way that made sense. Our time spent together was productive and I felt like I was already on my way to understanding more about why I am the way that I am and what I need to do to be and feel better.

David is fantastic. He's informal enough that it's more like a conversation than a therapy session, but he hits on issues that require me to think and ask myself questions.

David is a great listener but also offers a unique perspective. I wanted to have a therapist that gets straight to the point and I'm glad David was able to give me that while also making it a safe space for me to be vulnerable. Our sessions make me feel understood and also gives me that push to grow.

David was incredibly personable and directly got down to the roots of what I was struggling with. He was able to communicate with me in a direct and approachable way that allowed me to see the nuance in every facet of what I was dealing with. I appreciate his perspective and I can’t recommend him enough.
