About me

I am an attuned, client centered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed to practice in Florida and North Carolina, with experience supporting a wide range of client needs and life experiences. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, personality disorders, relationship challenges, burnout, identity exploration, and major life transitions, as well as seasonal or emotional shifts that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected.

My approach is integrative, trauma informed, and holistic, blending evidence-based therapies with care for the whole person mind, body, and spirit. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and use it to help clients process trauma, reduce emotional distress, and move toward healing at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of concerns, including parenting, complex trauma and long-standing patterns that may feel difficult to change. I welcome and respect all spiritual beliefs, worldviews, and identities. Whether you’re deeply spiritual, casually curious, grounded in science, exploring astrology and energy cycles, or simply experiencing a challenging season of life (retrograde or not), you are welcome here.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and non-judgmental. Together, we’ll build insight, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and reconnect you with your inner resilience. My style is warm, steady, and practical, with a focus on helping you feel supported while working toward meaningful and sustainable change.

If you’re looking for a therapist who honors both science and spirituality, understands trauma and complex emotional patterns, and recognizes that growth is not always linear, I would be honored to support you on your journey!

One last thing, I am not a robot with me you get a real person that understands and relates to you.

An experience directly catered to my needs with no unnecessary metaphors and jargon. She has real experience, she’s incredibly collected and polite, and gives fantastic advice while understanding the hard road ahead.

Props to Deana Haynes!!! Let’s start by saying this, I am not easy to work with. I do not like drs, and therapists the same. Even though I am generally apprehensive to most, Deana was very easy to relate with. I never feel judged or overly analyzed.
She helps frame conversational situations in a way that allows me to come to conclusions myself rather than be told what the solution is. She is able to give very helpful advice and also guide me into things when needed. THE BIGGEST FACTOR… I don’t feel like I had my mind probed at the end! It’s more like a relaxing mind massage.

She is absolutely fantastic. Listens, is there for you, pushes you but not in a bad way. She feels like a best friend that holds you accountable but also subtly pushes you to be better
