Talking with Dr. Brown makes me realize things that I've never realized about myself. She offers deeper insight on yourself and the effects of your trauma than all the columns you would read on the internet. I find myself discovering more layers to myself and understanding why I am the way I am. It feels nice to be heard and understood after years of dismissal.
