About me

I am licensed in Mississippi with more than 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients who have life stressors (anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addictions, parenting). I will challenge you to develop and practice healthy boundaries and settle the past, find hope and healing while recognizing all feelings are not facts.
Boundaries define who we are and who we are not. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while presenting Truth in love. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a healthy change. I practice holistic Christian based counseling. Most people do what they do because they believe what they believe. I am just a guide and my aim is to help you achieve your goals by setting them yourself after dealing with whatever issues or concerns you desire to discuss.

I received my bachelor degree (1984) in Religious Education from Mississippi College in Clinton MS and in 2005 I graduated from University of South MS with my masters degree in Education with emphases on counseling.

She has been incredibly helpful and supportive in my journey. She has not only been sounding board and safe place, but also have been a great source of wisdom and accountability in my walk with Christ. She has great wealth of knowledge, advice, and yet open to learn new things which is quiet encouraging and inspiring for me.

Delissa has been exactly who I needed to help me work through so much that had just piled up. She has been very validating, but at the same time gives tough love when I need it. I feel like I have progressed more in my seven months with her than I have previously with several years of therapy work. I cannot say enough good about her. I feel so much better for having had her guidance. She is the best and I hope she knows how much I truly appreciate her and all her help!

Delissa has been so helpful. She always reminds me GOD is ALWAYS by my side. Delissa has always been professional, kind & such a great inspiration to me to read Scripture & not be afraid to set boundaries on people in my life. She is always an inspiration to follow GOD'S word & for me THAT is a wonderful reason for me to keep her as my Therapist. I thank GOD for this wonderful knowledgeable lady.

Delissa Castleberry is a great therapist. I’ve never really been able to open up to anyone, but she has made me feel very comfortable and able to talk about many things. She also incorporates prayer and biblical readings into our sessions, I think that is great! I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know!!
