I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the state of Florida, with 39 years of experience with providing Therapy for many different clients, with a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Anger Management issues, Substance Use concerns, Relationship concerns, Trauma, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, working with women who have experienced emotional, physical or sexual abuse, adolescents with various concerns. I have worked with and helped Geriatric clients, as well, with many of their concerns; including Depression, Anxiety, Caregiver concerns.
I have provided Individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy, for many age groups. I encourage a client to express their concerns and interact, but I provide psycho-social education, also, to provide a client with information relevant to their circumstances. i.e. depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues and grief and loss, to name a few areas. I believe in treating others with dignity, respect and compassion. I use an appropriate approach, tailored to the individual client, always starting where the client is, such as cognitive behavioral, reality therapy, choices, psycho-education and supportive measures. The client and myself will create desired treatment plan goals and work on the client's most pressing needs, as identified by the client. Dolores has been such a blessing in my life.. I was at rock bottom emotionally.. The care time and support Dolores has provided to me is beyond words.. I have never in my life felt so empowered to be organically myself or put myself first.. I will always be eternally grateful for Dolores for helping me to become the best version of myself and loving me and understanding that I cannot hold myself responsible for other peoples actions just my own..
