I am a graduate of Loyola University (formally Loyola College) in Baltimore, MD, with a Masters in School Counseling. I also am a Licensed Professional Counselor. (LPC)
I have 15 years experience as a School Counselor. I work with teens with a wide variety of concerns including depression, peer conflicts, relationship issues , anger management, ADHD, and anxiety. I also have 4 years of experience working with adults online with similar issues.
I am genuine and interactive. I treat clients with respect and compassion. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Gesalt Therapy. . Both approaches are practical in dealing with specific problems. CBT involves the therapist and client work collaboratively to build a strong rapport that is crucial in the process. Gesalt Therapy helps clients to become more aware of specific issues which is so crucial to change.
You have taken the first step. The online platform works well with many peoples busy schedules. My office hours are on the weekends, day and some evenings.
I look forward to working with you.

She is a tremendous listener and always able to offer helpful strategies. She is very relatable and it feels more like a natural conversation than it does talking with a therapist for an hour in an office. It's a great quality to have when trying to connect with patients and other counselors could take note of that. She has been very helpful and is great to bounce ideas and concerns off of, and always ready to offer advice and solutions to many of life's challenges.

As an American abroad in an insanely tumultuous time, I can really rest easy and be thankful for Donna- she’s gone above and beyond to try to help me with counseling at almost anytime i need despite a 15 hour time difference between us. I still have a long way to go but I’m glad she’s been able to accommodate my unusual situation and she’s been such a big help to talk to.

I always look forward to my therapy session with Donna. She helps in clarifying my thoughts in a concise manner and allows me to express myself more. The way I think tends to spiral into a cycle and chatting with Donna helps me to identify the signs of this in order to escape the cycle before it overly effects my well being.
