About me
My approach to therapy offers guidance in your journey of rediscovering your unconditional love for yourself and your world. I help you have compassion for challenging feelings by acknowledging how these feelings are separate from our inner spirit and therefore don’t define our self worth. It becomes easier to accept these feelings by also acknowledging that they have a purpose of self protection and therefore come from a place of love. Acceptance of feelings allows us to return to nurturing our bodies through somatic practices and reach a state of joy in the present moment for our blessings. I hope I can reignite the light that is already in you so it can shine brighter for yourself and for your world.
My undergraduate degree/masters degree are from Boston College. I have had clients as young as two and as old as 87! I’ve worked with all ages in outpatient. My focus was children/families in partial hospitalization and in-home. I’ve primarily supported those finding challenge with anxiety, sadness and anger. I am passionate how physical health intertwines with mental health. Therefore I nourish my body with plants and move every day! I have found joy as a boxing instructor and runner. I hope to expose myself to more cultures through travel. I studied abroad in Ecuador and participated in service trips to El Salvador, Mississippi, New Orleans, and the Appalachian region. I live a spiritual life with the belief that we and all “things” are connected by a shared energy of love. Some of my blessings include my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and four-year-old nephew. “You'll never find a rainbow if you're looking down.”

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Eileen Madden. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Eileen is kind, wise, intuitive, and emotionally intelligent. She gives you space to talk and her questions are always on point. She is supportive and warm but also challenges you to help you grow. All I can say is: Trust the process. After working with her for about 8 months, I can safely say that I learned more about myself and grew more as a person through my time with her in these several months than I have on my own in 10-20 years. I highly recommend Eileen. Her presence here on Betterhelp is a gift. Thank you so much for everything Eileen!
Eileen is absolutely wonderful I’m thankful to have her as a therapist
Eileen has saved my life!
Good
Eileen is kind and wise. She listens and supports me and my family.
She listens, and challenges my own limiting beliefs, and helps me understand myself better. So thankful for you Eileen!
Eileen is wonderful! Listens, gives good advice and very easy to talk to!
Eileen is very kind, sweet, and patient! Her questions allow me to think more introspectively and I feel very grateful to her for allowing me to embark on this journey towards bettering my mental health!
Eileen is an extremely resourceful and intuitive therapist. She always asks the right questions and I really appreciate our sessions. Her help is right on point with the situations I’m facing.
I am so glad I was matched up with Eileen. She has the positivity and compassion that a good therapist needs in my opinion. I only had four sessions but it’s been eye opening to say the least . I recommend talk therapy to anyone especially with Eileen. Thank you again!
Eileen helped my wife and I reconnect intimately & I couldn't be more grateful for all her help. She has been incredibly helpful and I would definitely tell you to give her a chance. She is 1000% worth it.
She is so great to work with. I look forward to our calls every week.
Eileen is fantastic. She makes me feel so important in life. She makes me feel like someone has got my back and has faith in me. She isn’t pushy or overly opinionated like some therapists I’ve had in the past and helps me figure out how I feel about situations and how I can use certain tools to feel better she is 10/10 and I appreciate her more than I could ever explain.
Eileen is fantastic. She is incredibly flexible and genuinely cares about her patients.
Good communicator and listens to client needs and problems. Things went smoothly and all problems discussed and dealt with!
