About me

I am a licensed clinician with over 20 years of experience working with multiple treatment modalities to assist both people in crisis and people seeking to improve self esteem, evaluate all types of relationships and life goals or make major life changes. I am very practical in terms of helping you to make changes and transitions in your life. My viewpoint is one of working with a person and also what surrounds that person - family, community, workplace and social life. I am also caring, warm, and open professionally to spiritual and alternative methods such as mindfulness and meditation.

I am open to both video and phone sessions but not to chat or text sessions as I believe it is easy to misinterpret emotions and levels of concerns you may express via text and chat. Finding a therapist that you trust and connect with is a challenging task, it is important to me to offer the best of myself when we are working together.

Over the past twenty years I have worked with people experiencing chronic and terminal illness, mental heath crisis, homelessness, PTSD, consequences of aging, and disability. I have also worked with people wanting to improve self esteem, work through family and relationship issues, and also the many internal conflicts experienced throughout the stages of life as beliefs, needs and goals change over time. I am comfortable working with LGBTQ clients and also with clients in alternative lifestyles such as polyamory, swinging and BDSM. My goal is for each client to have a space to discuss choices and needs openly in a caring and professional relationship.
For all the clients who have posted reviews - I am so grateful you are a part of my life, and thank you so much for your kindness!

Elisabeth is able to listen to what I’m saying and dissect the points that I’m trying to make with ease. She helps me better understand myself and my feelings. She has a gentle and calming demeanor which helps make therapy a place I feel safe and welcomed.

Elizabeth has been an amazing help to my mental health! She helps me see that I am making progress and that I am growing as a person. She also makes me feel heard and feel seen as a person. She’s always taken my concerns seriously and always helps me see things in a realistic manner. She’s great and she’s really helped me alot these last couple months :)

Elisabeth helped me out of a really dark in my life (as most therapists do of course), but she genuinely made me feel comfortable and excited to talk at each of my appointments. She felt like a good friend I could vent to and then I trusted her enough to give me the best direction to take. She gave me the best tools that I could learn from in order to live life more happily and I am so thankful to her. If you have her recommended to you, please feel free to give her a try! She’s an angel!

In the month I’ve gotten to speak with Elisabeth I am thinking so much clearer.

She truly knows how to frame things in a different lens and provide relief and validation but with such sound advice.

I look forward to every week with Elisabeth and if others are seeking a therapist I strongly recommend her.
