About me

I am mental health therapist licensed in Georgia and Rhode Island with over 14 years of experience using trauma based therapy, working with individuals trying to understand their own, or family members’ personality disorder, and have had a strong base within the LGBTQIA community. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, body dysmorphia, and challenges of transitioning. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

I've tried therapy off and on for the past 30 years, but I've never been able to find anyone that could help me. For the first time, I'm working with someone who gets me.

Elizabeth has been fantastic! She is very personable, but at the same time has very high level conversations to keep the mind thinking. Elizabeth was asking questions that sounded so simple, but I just didn't have the answer and really made me sit back and think. I have had great progress with Elizabeth and know I will use her in the future for not only problems, but for personal goal setting, achievements, etc.
