About Me

I am mental health therapist licensed in Georgia and Rhode Island with over 13 years of experience using trauma based therapy, working with individuals trying to understand their own, or family members’ personality disorder, and have had a strong base within the LGBTQIA community. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, body dysmorphia, and challenges of transitioning. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Liz is great! I could type 1000 characters just gushing about her but I won't so you don't have to read it. Just book an appointment and you'll be jushing soon too

Liz is great because she's genuine -unlike my previous therapy experience where I felt like my therapist were reciting from textbooks. She gets my issues, she focuses on my strengths and gives me things to work on throughout the week to provide guidance. Highly recommend!

Liz is a fantastic and warm person with a really relaxed and friendly approach. I contacted her about a lot of issues and she identified my priorities expertly. I would recommend Liz to anyone, especially if they are having issues around identity and self expression. Thank you for everything you do and the good you bring into the world, you're truly an inspiration!

She cares about me in ways no therapist has. She gives me the chance to express in the way that lets me get it out. I’m able to see things from a different perspective with her and understand that what I do is not working. She also gives me ways to make it work for me. Amazing person!

Liz is understanding and doesn’t take a stuffy or strictly clinical approach to my concerns. She has taken time to not only understand my goals in therapy but to also understand me as a person. Which seems to allows a very organic progression of topics aligning both current life and past traumas. It has allowed working towards my therapy goals much easier than I anticipated.

Elizabeth has helped me so much. She’s always concerned with my well being and checks in when she hasn’t heard from me. She’s very professional and I’m so grateful to have found a good therapist
